Welcome to the MINI Guide to Pride. We’re thrilled to be back for the third year in a row to take you on a tour of our favourite LGBTQ+ owned and operated venues and businesses.
The MINI Guide to Pride was born out of our commitment to BIG LOVE, the belief that everyone – no matter who they are or who they love – should feel welcome in the MINI family. For the first edition, we went for a ride around Toronto with influencers Mike and Chris and discovered some of the city’s most iconic LGBTQ+ spots. For round two, we headed over to Montreal with trans influencer Kate Lessard, who showed us her top LGBTQ-operated cafes, museums, and nightlife venues.
This year, we’re packing up our MINI and setting course for Vancouver – so strap in and read on to discover what we found! And be sure to drop in and say hi if you’re in town.
Celebrate Pride all year round at Cardero Café, found in the heart of the lively Davie Village. Cardero Café serves up scrumptious Latin American snacks made with authentic ingredients, as well as coffee and traditional baked goods. Head to this colourful café and relax on their patio – the perfect place to sit back and watch the world go by.
CARDERO CAFÉWhether you’re looking for a casual afterwork drink or an eclectic afterhours club night, the Junction, in the heart of Davie Village, is the place to be. Proudly LGBTQ+ owned and operated, it offers varied entertainment options ranging from popular DJs and artists, to drag shows, bingo sessions, and trivia nights.
THE JUNCTIONOff the Rail Brewing Co. is a queer-owned brewery serving hand-crafted beers inspired by traditional European and North American recipes. With a focus on community and friendship, the team invites you to try what’s on offer in their tasting room. You can also check out their Pints with Pride events, featuring music by LGBTQ+ artists and trivia activities.
OFF THE RAIL BREWING CODiscover a more decadent you at this East Vancouver icon, the queer-owned vintage clothing boutique Burcu’s Angels. A treasure trove of colours, textures, and creativity, this inclusive boutique invites you to have a rummage and develop your own unique style.

We want to hear about it! Tell us about them below and we’ll feature them as part of our MINI Guide to Pride.
